VIP Packages including Sunday’s Late Night Show with Umphrey’s McGee and EOTO in the Red Barn are officially sold out. No more VIP Packages with the Sunday Late Night Show will be available – this includes VIP Deluxe Upgrades which are also now sold out. There are still VIP packages available that include the Friday Late Night Show tickets. 05.18.10 – BoomBox at Summer Camp

As it was originally listed incorrectly we want to clarify that BoomBox will be performing a Starshine Stage slot at 6pm on Saturday and Zion Rock Godchaux and Russ Randolph of BoomBox (Dj Set) will be performing in the Vibe Tent on Saturday night at 2am. Hope this clarifies any confusion.

5.17.10 – Summer Camp announces Soulshine Poster Art Show

The Soulshine Poster Art Show is an exhibition of artisans who create handmade concert posters utilizing the time-honored process of fine art printmaking.

The event is hosted in eulogy to Lisa Rosemann – artist, live music devotee and spirit of our community – who left us to paint her greatest masterpiece this May.

Visit the Soulshine Tent Fri-Sun 10am-4pm to learn more about the art of printmaking and return home with a valuable collectible. View a special exhibition of The Art of Lisa Rosemann and bid on posters autographed by many of the musicians performing at this year’s 2010 Summer Camp Music Festival with proceeds benefitting charity.

The allotment of individual late night tickets that went on sale on Friday sold out in record time. Please stay tuned as more tickets may be released in advance or at the festival. We’re all looking forward to the best Summer Camp yet!


04.28.10 – Sunday-Only Tickets On Sale This Saturday

This year we’ll be offering Sunday-only tickets to the festival for those folks who’d just like a taste of Summer Camp. The daily schedule for the festival will be avaialable soon, but some of the artists performing on Sunday will include: moe., Umphrey’s McGee, the Avett Brothers, G. Love & Special Sauce, Dweezil Zappa Plays Zappa and more. Sunday-only tickets will be $50 in advance and go on sale HERE this Saturday, May 1st at 10am CST

04.10.10 – Late Night allotment sold out in record time!

The allotment of Late Night Show tickets that went on sale this morning sold out in record time! Please note that this was the pre-sale allotment for each night’s show. They are still available as part of the VIP upgrade packages, and more individual late night tickets will be made available in advance or at the festival. Watch the website for details in the coming weeks.


04.07.10 – LATE NIGHT SHOW TICKET ON SALE ANNOUNCEMENT!

A limited number of individual tickets for this year’s late night shows in the Red Barn will go on sale this Saturday, April 10th at 10 a.m. CST. Tickets will be $20 each and there will be a two ticket limit per order. CLICK HERE for more info on this year’s late night shows. Thursday night’s pre-party late night show is included with the Pre-Party Pass, in conjunction with the 3-day ticket.


04.05.10 – Rock the Earth Mobile Phone Drive

Summer Camp Music Festival is proud to announce the Rock the Earth Mobile Phone Drive! In partnership with Musictoday, Rock the Earth is calling on all Summer Camp attendees to gather up their old, unwanted mobile phones and bring them to the Rock the Earth booth at Summer Camp for proper recycling. Each person recycling a phone will receive 20% off a future Musictoday purchase, AND each phone is worth one entry into the on-site sweepstakes drawing for cool prizes like CDs, DVDs, Rock the Earth T-shirts, Digital Downloads, Summer Camp tickets plus MANY MORE GREAT PRIZES! The more phones you bring to Summer Camp for recycling, the less toxic chemicals end up in landfills and the bigger your positive impact on the environment, while also increasing your chances of winning one of these fantastic prizes!

03.30.10 – Conscious Alliance Food Drive at Summer Camp 2010

The Summer Camp Music Festival and Conscious Alliance are proud to announce our Food Drive to benefit the Peoria Area Food Bank, Peoria IL. We are expecting that we can easily raise over 3,000 pounds of food. All patrons that donate 10 non-perishable food items will receive a free limited-edition Summer Camp poster created by a very special artist TBA. Posters are printed on a post-consumer waste paper, further enhancing the greening efforts of the festival.

All food donations will be collected at the Conscious Alliance “Art That Feeds” Gallery, which will be depicted on the Summer Camp Festival guide.

The Conscious Alliance always encourages food donations to be low-sodium and health oriented products. “Organic” food donations are especially encouraged. RAMEN NOODLES will NOT be accepted for the free poster.

Calling all DJs! Summer Camp 2010 Music Festival is proud to announce our first official DJ Scratch Contest in honor of our 10th Anniversary!

Aside from the Late Night Shows in the Red Barn, Summer Camp also has a variety of other late night entertainment options.

Late Night Campfire Jams : Taking place on the Campfire Stage, the Late Night Campfire Jams have become one of the sweetest way to spend the wee hours of the night. Past performers of the Campfire Jams include: The Wood Brothers, Cornmeal, Greensky Bluegrass, 56 Hope Road and more. More info coming soon on this year’s performers.

Late Night Vibe Tent : After hours our Soulshine Tent, which during the day hosts a variety of socially conscious and awareness discussions and activities, turns into a Vibe Tent featuring different DJs and electronic style acts each night. Artist performances and announcements will be made as the festival gets closer.

VIP tickets to the Summer Camp 2010 Music Festival are upgrades to the 3-day camping ticket. VIP Upgrade tickets are not valid unless presented at the festival gates along with a 3-day camping ticket.

We’re excited to offer a variety of different VIP Upgrade packages for 2010. On top of the standard VIP Upgrade we offered the last couple of years, we’ll also be offering a couple of Deluxe VIP options all the way up to a VIP Rockstar Upgrade that will include your own “Dressing Room” and All Access VIP passes (equivalent to an artist pass with backstage access).

Summer Camp 2010 Music Festival announces Your Facebook, Your Festival!

Summer Camp 2010 Music Festival is proud to present Your Facebook, Your Festival, a battle-of the-bands where your favorite home-town heroes and regional artists compete for a spot at Summer Camp 2010 in May. Each week from from now through mid-March, 8-10 talented, local bands will compete for YOUR VOTES. On Monday, March 15th, preliminary voting will end and the bands with the winning votes from the past six weeks will compete in a final round for the opportunity to perform at Summer Camp 2010 Music Festival. Your votes determine the winner, so show your support and start voting! The first round of bands will be announced on Monday, February 1st!

Do you know of a home-town hero or undiscovered band that deserves a spot at Summer Camp 2010 Music Festival? We’re taking your suggestions throughout the month of February, but please remember that Your Facebook, Your Festival is to give local/regional/hometown bands an opportunity to play at the festival — large touring bands, no matter how incredible they may be or how badly you’d like to see them at Summer Camp 2010, will not be entered into the contest.

Once again, the Early Bird Tickets for the Summer Camp 2010 Music Festival have sold out in just over a week thanks to the die hard fans of the festival!  3-Day Tickets with Camping are currently on sale for $120.  There will be a limited number of these tickets available as well, so buy now to save some money!  Once these are gone the price may go up without notice.  And – keep your eyes open for the first round of Summer Camp 2010 artist announcements this Friday, December 18th!  Or, check us out on Facebook and Twitter to find out a little sooner.

A limited number of Early Bird Tickets will go on sale this Saturday, December 5th at 10 a.m. by phone at 1-800-514-ETIX or on-line here. Early Bird Tickets will be $100 for a 3-day pass including primitive camping. Once the allotment of Early Bird Tickets is sold out, the price may go up without notice.

This will be the 10th Annual Summer Camp Music Festival and will feature over 50 bands on 6 stages over the course of 3 days. Taking place at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, IL (just 20 miles north of Peoria), the festival also features a kid’s camp, an extensive representation of non-profit organizations, on-site camping, lots of unique arts & craft artisans, a variety of good food and plenty of ice cold beer.
