Backyard Tire Fire is an American trio formed in Asheville, NC, in 2001. With the release of their fifth, full-length disc, Good To Be, Backyard Tire Fire blends granola-rootsy, rustic Americana sounds with the rich, rock ‘n’ roll textures of The Kinks Brit-pop, Tom Petty’s Southern stylings, Beatles-esque majesty and heartland chest-pounding rhythms. Currently based in Bloomington, IL, Backyard Tire Fire tirelessly work the national circuit, sharing the stage with The Reverend Horton Heat, Gov’t Mule, Los Lobos and James McMurtry.
