MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL @ SUMMER CAMP 2009
The 2009 MLB Road Show will be bringing their mobile touring attraction to Summer Camp this year.  The interactive elements include:
- MLB Authentic Collection Merchandise Room
- Gaming Lounge featuring MLB titles on XBox 360 and Playstation3 on plasma screen TVs
- Live Broadcast of MLB Games
- Batting Cage
- Speed Pitch Cage

Hot Air Balloon Rides
This year Summer camp will feature Hot Air Balloon rides in the afternoon and evening.  You will be able to see all of the magnificent Illinois River Valley from high in the sky.  More info will be available in the official Summer Camp Guide.

Shopping:
Specialty shopping on Chillicothe’s Historic Downtown Second Street offers antiques, one of a kind original arts, and gifts from around the globe. Chillicothe has a restaurant to meet your desires from pizza to prime rib. 

Parks and Recreation
Chillicothe has 5 beautiful parks, two on the riverfront, one has 40 acres of hiking or biking.

Chillicothe Fun Run
This race is run in a lovely little river town. The course is well paved, clean and without hills. Many runners have set personal records over the years. This race is a USA Track and Field sanctioned event and is run in a USA track and Field certified course. The race committee will provide food after the race and awards will be presented immediately after the race. This race is run by the Optimist club of Chillicothe and is sponsored by Proctor hospital.
